Magical Moment

I never really understood what the magical Disney experience was until the girls met Mickey Mouse for the first time. After a long day at the park we were doing some shopping. Just by chance we walked past the house where we could meet Mickey and it was only 15 minutes! (most of the characters were over an hour) Once it was our turn to head in, we realized that it was a private room. Just Mickey, us, and a photographer.

The minute the girls spotted Mickey, they ran to him and jumped in his arms.

 Amelia jumped first!

Emma too!

Our hearts melted. Excitement was just beaming from them. They couldn't take their eyes off him except for a moment to turn back and tell us that "Mick" was there. They couldn't believe their eyes. He gave them lots of hugs and kisses and they loved every second.

Next Amelia remembered she was holding her bag. She took this as a perfect opportunity to show him what was in it. As she rummaged through, she pulled out her brand new Mickey and Minnie dolls from Uncle John and MoMo. When Mickey saw Minnie he fell in love! Gave her kisses and the girls absolutely loved it!

My heart was so happy. The magic in their eyes is something I will never forget, and I hope that it stays around forever!

An afternoon parade

As we were walking around the park, we managed to find a parade! 

It was kinda a mishmash of characters, but we loved waving at everyone.

The next float had a few other randoms... 

OH MY GOD. WOODY and JESSIE!!!!

I'm not sure who was more excited... us or the adults with us. 

There was A LOT of "Oh my god, I can't believe it's HIM," 

lots of jumping around, arms flailing, and screaming. Those crazy adults!

But seriously, we were completely star struck.

The Happiest Place on Earth

On our trip to Florida we decided to visit Mickey, our first stop was Cinderella's Castle.

Hello again :)

I don't know when it happened, my little tiny babies are teenagers. Well not really, they are almost three, but you know what I mean. I can't believe how much they have grown. They have minds of their own and the sass that comes with it. I hope you enjoy catching up on the last few months, sorry for the delay!! 

We're so Lucky....
