Party of 30

We spent our Thanksgiving at my parents house. We had 30 people this year, which was perfect for our holiday tradition of doing the wave around the table. The girls ate lots of turkey and mashed potatoes and their favorite was grandma's apple sauce! We are so thankful for all of our family and friends, near and far. We love you :)

I didn't take many pictures, but this will give you an idea of how huge the table is.

From one room...

to another.

Manchester Road Race '11

Auntie and I started our Thanksgiving Day by running a quick 4.75 miles with 15,000 people and 30,000 spectators. It was a really fun race filled with lots of people watching. Plus, there was no guilt helping ourselves to seconds on desserts :)

Auntie and Momma getting ready for the big race.

An Emmy "Ooooo"

That's what 15,000 runners looks like!

The dad's! (Thanks for helping Uncle Mike!)

And now for some people watching:

And this is when you know it's time to leave!

Charlie and Jack

Meet Charlie and Jack, two adorable little fluff balls. UJ and Maureen welcomed two new puppies to their family and Amelia and Emma were very excited to meet them. And I think Charlie and Jack were excited to meet the girls... especially since they thought Amelia and Emma were two new puppy friends.

We look forward to lots more play dates :)

Mr. Charlie

Mr. Jack

He's gonna get your toes!

Crazy happy face.

Two doggies, two girls. We both get to keep one right?

Maybe if I cross my feet they won't see them?

Tag, your it.

Funny Faces - The Ball Pit Edition

Who said you can only have fun with balls in a ball pit? This ball pit has a wall of plastic windows that we make funny faces in.

Storm Alfred

Storm Alfred caught us a little off guard. 5 days without power makes you appreciate every light switch in the house. Thankfully the Arslan Family took us in and gave us a warm place to stay. Thanks again for heat, good company, yummy food and the introduction to Two Buck Chuck!

The night of the storm the girls wouldn't sleep so we let them cuddle in bed with us.

So. Much. Snow.

We awoke to over a foot of snow and broken trees everywhere!

We needed to get food but with stores running on generators there wasn't much to choose from. The selections was chips or.... chips.

Cooking dinner the first night without power - spaghetti o's on the grill.

Who needs toys when you have Nipper's dog tent?

The girls favorite spot to hang out at night... mommy's too!!

And where were the shovels for all of this action?
Tucked away in the rafters of the garage!

Happy Belated Birthday

Happy Belated Birthday Auntie!!! We love you very much and are so thankful to have you in our lives. You are the best!

(P.S. Sorry for posting this late. I'm not on top of things like I used to be... I would have set it to automatically post... and then we lost power.... and man I am a mess!!)

Trick - or - Ted

Who needs candy treats when you have this treat? Auntie surprised the girls with an elephant slide for Halloween, who we have since named Ted. A new addition that is loved by everyone :)

Auntie building Ted while the girls were sleeping all cozy in their beds.

I was soooo excited and had to test it out...
(I can only image how fun Christmas is going to be this year!!)
