2nd offense

Grocery shopping by yourself with two little kids is stressful. Trying to remember to buy everything while keeping both kids in the carriage and content is a huge challenge. But one that I will do in order to have food. (Thank god for those little cars that are built into the carriage!)

Last week, after I had already bought everything and packed the groceries into the car, I breathed a sigh of relief... I reached into the little car to put the girls into my car and I couldn't believe my eyes. The whole bottom of the car was lined with magazines... They must have been grabbing them from the check out line when the printer ran out of paper. They were all "Bon Appetite" magazines. I looked down at them, thinking I can't bring them back. I will just leave them in the cart. But then I saw they were 5 dollars each and I slowly walked back into the store. I walked to the service desk with a stack of slightly wrinkled magazines and told the woman behind the desk, "Um... my kids took these." And dropped the stack on the desk, smiled and walked away.

  1. I refuse to go grocery shopping anymore. I started ordering online from Peapod and it is AWESOME. $7 for someone to bring me my food is worth every penny.
