Girls Rock in the New Year

Amelia and Emma wore their "Girls Rock" pajamas to rock in the New Year. Although they didn't get to stay up till midnight, they had a blast hanging out with everyone before hand. Even with a party going on right outside their door, they didn't wake up once! Our two little girls rock!!

Christmas with Grandma Erica

Amelia and Emma also got to spend time with Grandma Erica the day after Christmas. By this time they figured out the whole present opening thing. Thank you so much for making time for us Erica, we had a great time visiting!

Christmas Night

We spent Christmas Night with part of Derek's family. Thank you very much for having us this year, it was truly a great way to end our Christmas day. The girls already look up to their cousins, Anna and Cate, and I know they will be great friends growing up together.

Christmas Morning at Grandma and Grandpa's House

Looking through my pictures, I cannot help but think, what was life like before these little monsters? They really make everything so much better... a lot crazier... but so incredibly amazing.

Christmas Morning

Stockings first:

They love anything little, so it was fitting to get their first little Barbie.

And of course lots of food and snacks.

Then onto presents:

We love Santa's wrap job!

These were height charts to see how tall they grow... I'm hoping they don't stop at 5' in the fourth grade!!!

We still love sitting on presents.

Ahhh I love opening presents... it makes me have a crazy face!

Now I can become part of the Lucky Strikes Bowling Team!

And we can't forget the dogs, they had their annual Christmas Easter Egg Hunt.

Christmas Eve Presents

We weren't sure what the girls would do with their presents this year. After a little prompting, they seemed to get the idea. Although their favorite part was sitting and standing on boxes, and ripping tissue paper and wrapping paper into tiny pieces.

On Christmas Eve we went to church with Grandpa, Grandma, Auntie and Uncle Mike. They were very brave! Mom and Dad had plenty of things to entertain the girls, including Cheerio's that ended up in the coat of a woman in front of us... ooppsssie! After mass, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a big party where we got to open a few gifts! But they made us take pictures first.
