Pretty Placemats

The girls made everyone pretty placemats for Thanksgiving dinner.  They loved making them with their paint dobbers, and they looked so nice on the table!

Welcome to Moe's!

The Disney Channel had been advertising "Sophia the First" for several weeks, and we thought it would be fun to let the girls watch it.  It is a children's movie about a little girl who becomes a princess. We thought we would make it a special night for the girls, so we ordered them Moe's (cheese quesadillas), set up tv trays, and watched it together. Such a fun night!

Elf on the Shelf

It's that time of year again...for our Elf on the Shelf, who we've named Chilly, to make his appearance.  This year, the girls have taken an interest in him.  They don't fully understand why he is there, but they love to wave to him, blow him kisses and show off for him.  And let's face it, Mom and Dad have fun thinking of new places to put him.  Tonight, we have him parasailing on the living room ceiling fan.

A Week in the Life of Two Little Ladies: Day 4

We've gotten really good at trying all sorts of new foods.  Which are even more tastier when you are wearing no shirt and your best winter hat!

A Week in the Life of Two Little Ladies: Day 3

We love to craft, and color.  For Halloween, UJ got us these awesome markers, which we love to play with.  And even better that they are washable, so its no big deal if we get them on the table...or our clothes....or our face!  As you can tell, coloring is serious business.

A Week in the Life of Two Little Ladies: Day 2

And we like to read stories and watch videos with our momma, or Ma, as we like to call her lately.

A Week in the Life of Two Little Ladies: Day 1

We are gearing up for Thanksgiving, which is going to be at our house, so things are going to be a little chaotic this week as we help Momma and Auntie with all of the preparations.  So while we are off being busy, we'd thought we'd give you a little glimpse of what a typical week looks like for us lately.

We like to:
Practice drinking out of cups like big kids.  This usually ends up with a mop coming out...but at least we are doing our part to keep the floor clean.

Birthday Balloons!

For AK's birthday, we blew up some balloons as a surprise.  While we waited for her to wake up, we had a little fun with them ourselves.

I wanna Rock and Roll All Night....

AK had to test out some equipment that she was planning to using for a fundraiser.  She wanted to make sure she knew how it worked before she got to the venue.  Apparently, all she had to do was ask Amelia and Emma.  All of this happened without any prompting, from any adult...  All that was missing was a smashed guitar and pyrotechnics.  #rockandroll

The Real Deal

We got to go on our first legitimate Trick or Treat this year, and it was AWESOME!  Momma, AK and Auntie Green took us out.  We had so much fun knocking on doors and yelling surprise.  One lady even told us that we were the cutest kids she had seen all night, and let's be honest, we tend to agree.  Its funny though, we scored so much loot, but the next day we couldn't find it anywhere.  Might need to talk to Momma about that....
