The biggest thing I have learned over the past year, is that these girls are quick. They move faster than you can react and before you can jump up and stop them, they are burning their hand on a dehumidifier or getting their foot caught in a cozy coupe trailer hitch...
The story went something like this. The girls were in the living room playing with their cozy coupes, when Emma thought it would be fun to slip her foot into the trailer hitch. And while it went in very easily, getting it out was another story. It wouldn't come out..at...all..... Grandma called Uncle Mike to come help, and advised that if he didn't come, she would need to call the police. Flash forward 15 minutes later, when Derek made an unexpected stop home on his way to class and noticed that Uncle Mike's car was in the driveway...and....it was parked sideways. He walked in the front door to find Grandma on the floor holding Emma, foot still attached to the cozy coupe, and Uncle Mike with a screw driver taking apart the car. Grandma looked up to see Derek, and said oh, thank god you're here. An electric drill, screwdriver, and 10 minutes later Uncle Mike and Dad were able to save the day, and we didn't have to call the police.
Good thing Uncle Mike thought to take a picture!
