The girls love to leave shoe treasures.

This time I cleaned up!

The last couple days, right after the girls wake from their nap, I've heard lots of giggling coming from their room. This is what I have found each time.

Emma flings everything in her bed over the rail into Amelia's bed. The laughing is the best, I need to get it on video!!

Our Christmas card this year was photographed by Crista Acosta, you may remember her work from our card last year. I wanted to share all of the beautiful photographs she took. We gave her a run for her money this year and after watching the video you'll see why.

Last Stop: Healthyville

This exhibit taught the girls all about being healthy. They had great hands on exhibits that Karen, Derek and I... I mean... the girls loved playing with.

Next stop: Energy Lab

The Energy Lab had so much for the girls to experience. Water tables, and tunnels, and plastic balls floating and flying everywhere... If you know anything about these girls, you'll know they aren't afraid to dive right in.

So then we did it everything all over again wearing costumes!

Off to Tot Town.

After the shoes were off, it was time to get on the school bus and head to Tot Town.

It's a big day for Auntie Green, she reached one of her major milestones... she turned 30 today! We hope this year brings only great things to you. Happy Birthday, we love you very much :)

Stepping Stones

We spent the afternoon at a really cool children's museum in South Norwalk called Stepping Stones. It was during the week between Christmas and New Years so things were a little chaotic. Whenever we take the girls to environments like this, I've noticed that Emma will socialize with anyone while Amelia hangs back and does her own thing. On this occasion, Emma ran off to a fishing boat and made friends immediately, while Amelia froze in one place and wouldn't move. We were a bit concerned considering we drove an hour and a half to get there. After 10 mins of coaxing Amelia to play with all the fun things around us we realized the problem. Shoes and socks. As disgusting as it is (VOM)... we took off her shoes and socks and let her go barefoot. She was a completely different kid!

Thank you so much for being apart of our lives, for making us laugh, for teaching us new things, for our afternoon phone calls, and for giving us food that Mom won't normally let us have. We love you very much!!!

Tell us how you really feel

They loathe socks. We find them discarded all around the house, in the car, and in their beds. It's a constant battle keeping them on and certainly makes things interesting this time of year... especially since they aren't too fond of shoes either.

2012 Olympic Training

London is hosting the 2012 Summer Olympics, and lucky for us we are ready. Auntie went on a business trip there and got us our training gear.
