Christmas Eve Pictures

On Christmas Eve we went to church with Grandpa, Grandma, Auntie and Uncle Mike. They were very brave! Mom and Dad had plenty of things to entertain the girls, including Cheerio's that ended up in the coat of a woman in front of us... ooppsssie! After mass, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a big party where we got to open a few gifts! But they made us take pictures first.

No more pictures mom!!!!

Christmas Party - Part 2

An the answer is..... EMMA!!! Before she went up to sit on his lap, Emma was waving and smiling to Santa... even blowing him kisses. But the second I let go, the screaming began. I couldn't believe it because they are usually so good around people they don't know. I guess Santa is a creep in her book.

Amelia sat on his lap and mostly avoided eye contact.

Sister photo, this is the best we could do this year!

Group photo, notice the kung foo grip on Aunties scarf :)

Christmas Party - Part 3

After our visit with Santa, we got to open the present he gave us. This year he brought the girls their very own Cabbage Patch Kids!

Emma opening her gift.

I think she likes it!

Amelia was a little cautious at first.

And was shocked by what was inside!

She has a nose!

AND.... I have one too!!

Emma is a proud little mommy.

And the best part of the gift? The little pink brushes that came with them!

Christmas Party - Part 1

While we waited for Santa to arrive at the party, we sang lots of Christmas carols and ate pizza. The girls loved being around all the other kids. And really wanted to get their hands on the microphone. We have one at home and they do monster into it... that would have been fun for everyone :)

And then the big guy arrived!

Oh Christmas Tree

We were really excited to put up the tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. Here is what it looked like then:

And here is what it looks like now:

Besides the addition of presents, the tree is different from the first shot. Please take note of the location of the ornaments. They have all migrated slowly to the top. We were impressed with ourselves to have shatter proof ornaments(aka plastic) on the tree this year. Such a great idea with little kids... But what hasn't been addressed yet is the hooks on those shatter proof ornaments, little girls like to play with those too.

Ugly Sweater and Mustache bash

This year we had an Ugly Sweater and Mustache Bash to celebrate the holiday season. The girls were too young to attend the party, but they wanted to get dressed up anyways. Thank you Grandma Debi and Great Grandma Eunice for watching them so we could have a fun night out.

Here's what they missed out on:
