Brown's
One beautiful afternoon we took the girls to Brown's for pumpkins. This farm is the perfect for families. They have a corn maze just for kids, pumpkin painting, hayrides and a playground... and yummy sugar donuts! I think next year when the girls are "walking" (or running in two directions) this place will be even more fun!

Mardi Gras
Before we left the Big E, we got to catch the Mardi Gras parade. The girls loved the Clydesdales, the floats, and most of all - the beads!

Flying Bees
Besides all of the eating at the Big E, the girls got to go on their first amusement park ride - Flying Bees! They got to control when the bee moved up and down, and they loved it. This wasn't as exciting for mom and dad..can anyone say motion sickness??
This is awesome....!
Let's see what this bee can really do dad....
So high!
Mom and Dad were so brave!

The Big E
In New England nothing marks the beginning of fall better than the Big E. We spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon, eating our way through the fair. The girls even got to try a taste of the famous Maine baked potato.
Amelia is not impressed!
Next year I'm getting the fried oreo!

Go Uconn!
We took the girls to their first Uconn football game. It was an evening game so we bundled up with blankets and hats. Although that didn't last long, the hats and blankets came off within a few minutes of us sitting down. Luckily it was warmer in the stadium.
Momma and her monster
The game.... Uconn vs. ???
(I don't pay attention to those details!)
Very into the game...
or into the music, dancing, cheering and people watching.
